Absolutely gutted for Italy, showed a lot of fight in this game and I don’t think any neutral fan would have wanted to deny them victory.
Sergio Parisse possibly denied a victory in his last Six Nations game. The man is a legend of the game and left his customary moments on this game, but sadly throughout his international career he hasn’t had the players with skill sets around him.
80 Minutes – Scrappy end and France get the ball out. Ended up a bit of a scrappy affair, so gutted for Italy but they’ve thrown it away. France eek out a win to finish off their Six Nations.
Italy 14-25 France
79 Minutes – France have sealed the win, Italy have actually thrown it away. Ntamack puts the pressure on a kick and gathers the ball, ball comes to Penaud who seals the win with a try in the corner. Conversion missed from the edge of the pitch.
74 Minutes – Zanon with a howler, Italy move France across the field from the lineout and create a massive overlap. Zanon gathers and sprints for the line ignoring his support outside and gets the ball knocked out of his grasp. Silly mistake to make, if i was Italian i would be pissed.
72 Minutes – Yellow card for France. Italy go for another lineout. Please can we just have a try.
Another penalty given away by France but no card.
70 Minutes – Italy with a driving maul which is brought down. Italy go through the forwards with pick and go’s. Another penalty and another drive from lineout fails for Italy, but they have a 3rd penalty.
68 Minutes – A nice run and more pressure from Italy. A knock on scrum and Italy take it from right to left with France giving away a penalty. Italy head for a lineout on the 5m.
65 Minutes – TRY TIME (Almost) – Italy go over though it’s brought back for TMO. Looks scrappy to me and a knock on from Tibaldi and he’s short once replayed. White line fever.
62 Minutes – France on the attack from a lineout. Their play is so slow though. Ntamack drops back and slots a drop goal.
60 Minutes – Italy again on the attack within the France half. They are edging towards the France 22.
The ball goes loose though and Medard kicks through, Italy regain in their 22 and then give away a penalty. France with an oppurtunity to extend the lead.
57 Minutes – Delay for injury to Ghiraldini and he’s replaced.
Italy 14-17 France
53 Minutes – ITALY on the attack, finally they get themselves back in it. Zanon, Parisse and
48 Minutes – Italy back into Frances half and get an easy penalty, But Allan has a mare and it goes well wide. #HeadsGone
46 Minutes – France TRY – Huget in the corner after a period of pressure over Italy.

Italy 9-10 France
42 Minutes – Allan puts over another 3 points for Italy leaving them a point behind France now at 9-10.
Half Time – France are going to throw this away if they carry on, Italy just need to keep the ball and make less handling errors and they will work their way toward the game.
40 Minutes – 2 minutes of sustained attack is ruined by another handling error for Italy on the line. The forwards don’t want to give this ball to the backs.
38 Minutes – A break off another Italy lineout play set’s Italy up, but the attack is broken up. Italy get the penalty and setup a mail from a lineout.
36 Minutes – Italy win a penalty due to a poor tackle, but Parrise can’t reach.
32 Minutes – France have put pressure and ran into Italy. But with 6 handling errors now in the game they are letting Italy regain territory.
27 Minutes – France have a scrum after their line is battered by Italians. A knock and a dominant French scrum see them clear their lines.
